POWHATAN, VA (WWBT) -- A man is facing murder charges in connection to a double homicide in Powhatan County.
Around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a call in the 1300 block of Stavemill Road. They found two male victims lying outside, both dead.
A few hours later, deputies arrested 32-year-old Jason Overbey of Amelia on two charges of first degree murder and two charges of using a firearm in commission of a felony. He will be arraigned Wednesday in a Powhatan County courtroom.
Authorities have identified the victims as 47-year-old Kenneth William Moore, Jr. and 42-year-old Robert Linwood Mann. Both men are from Powhatan.
