Hanover Planning Commission defers action on signs

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) - The Hanover Planning Commission needs more time to think about a proposal that could lead to more commercial signs along Interstate 95.

To help boost business, county leaders may allow some large developments to put up 125-foot high signs.

That's the size of the Kings Dominion sign you can see right now from the interstate.

The Planning Commission hosted a public hearing about this issue Thursday night, but deferred any decision.

The Commission will review the issue again at it's June 16 meeting during another public hearing.
