RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - People in southwest Virginia, hit hard by a tornado last month, got a lot of help this weekend from the Army Reserve.
More than 100 service members spent Saturday and Sunday in Glade Spring, helping victims by clearing tons of debris.
Four people were killed in Washington County when the April 28 tornado swept through southwest Virginia.
It destroyed numerous buildings and injured 50 people.
There was also a lot of support in Gloucester for the "Day of Aid" benefit concert.
The money donated from the event went to local charities and the Red Cross in Gloucester and Deltaville.
