STANARDSVILLE, Va. (AP) - A Charlottesville man has been arrested on charges stemming from a home invasion that police say is connected to a triple slaying in Greene County.

The Daily Progress reports that 26-year-old Taybronne Altereik White was being held without bail Monday at the Central Virginia Regional Jail in Orange.

The Greene County Sheriff's Office says White was arrested Sunday night but didn't provide details. White is charged with felony burglary while armed and malicious wounding.

Deputies investigating the home invasion on May 3 found the bodies of three people lying on a road about one to two miles away. Police say all three suffered gunshot wounds.

White has not been charged in connection with the slayings.
