RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Police in Henrico are now calling a death investigation a homicide.
Officers tell us Deon Jackson was found dead outside a home on Cushing Drive early Saturday morning.
According to police, at around 1:40 a.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Cushing Drive in reference to gun fire and a possible victim in a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located Deon N. Jackson, 25, of the 1500 block of Oakwood Avenue. His body was transported to the medical examiner's office for an examination. Investigation on going.
The medical examiner determined that Jackson died from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
