Henrico caretaker guilty of larceny, theft

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) – A Henrico woman has been sentenced to 60 days in prison after pleading no contest Thursday to four counts of petit larceny, which had been reduced from grand larceny. 

She had been accused of ripping off an elderly man to the tune of $1,100.

Henrico County Police arrested Patricia Stowe, 52, March 27. She faced 12 counts of forgery and larceny against an 86-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

The four counts of forging and uttering were nolle prosequi.  She was also ordered to pay $1,100 restitution.

    Emergency crews are investigating, after two men were struck by a C-S-X train in Fredericksburg. Police say one of those men has died from his injuries.
