Suspect in teen's murder returned to Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, VA - William Timothy Walker, who was arrested Tuesday in Harrisburg, Penn., in connection with the murder of Devin Hawkins on April 23, is now in custody in the Chesterfield County Jail.

Walker, 21, waived his rights and agreed to be returned to Virginia. He arrived at the Chesterfield County Jail Wednesday evening.

On Tuesday, the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Harrisburg, Penn., working closely with Chesterfield Police detectives and U.S. Marshals in several states, arrested Walker on warrants for homicide, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and gang participation.

Walker has his first court appearances in Chesterfield County's General District and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District courts today.
