RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - VCU's star point guard, Joey Rodriguez, has done late night television, visited the governor's mansion, and today, he's heading to the White House.
Rodriguez is a guest for the Cinco de Mayo dinner.
He told USA Today this week he plans to give the president a VCU basketball jersey.
Hopefully he'll get a chance to talk with the president.
Head coach Shaka Smart wasn't as lucky — he only got to see Obama speak just a few days ago at the White House correspondent's dinner.
