RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A student notified Huguenot High School officials this morning of a gun on the school's campus which lead to a lockdown of the South Richmond campus.
Preliminary investigation found that the student identified as having a gun did not have a gun. It is not clear if the student that reported the gun saw the gun or had just heard of it.
The school was put on lock down, code red, for the remainder of the school day. The school suspended all movement on the campus.
A spokesperson for Richmond Public Schools could not confirm this morning what time the school was locked down.
