Prince George police search for shooting suspect

PRINCE GEORGE, VA (WWBT) - Prince George County Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in the 3700 block of Madison Street.

Robert A. Allen, 23, of Chesterfield County has been charged with attempted murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Witness accounts describe a black male driving a green mini-van, possibly a Nissan Quest, pull up near the victim's residence and fire two shots striking the victim once as he was standing in his front yard.  The victim was transported to John Randolph Hospital and later flown to VCU Medical Center.  His condition is currently unknown.

Robert Allen is described as a black male, 6'0", 150lbs, and has light facial hair.  Allen has lived in numerous locations in the tri-city area.
