Catholic Diocese pays $6 million for property

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - New information on the future of Benedictine High School while the debate continues over where, and if, the academic campus will move from Richmond to Goochland.

The Catholic Diocese of Virginia has agreed to pay $6 million to keep the Richmond high school building.

St. Benedict Catholic Church shares a parking lot with the property.

Many church members were worried that the parish might lose its parking if the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts bought the property.
