RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Wednesday will be a busy day for lawmakers in the Commonwealth — they are set to talk about vetoes and budget amendments.
Heated debates will likely take place inside the walls of the General Assembly building as lawmakers tackle several bills vetoed by Governor Bob McDonnell, including the physical education bill.
That bill would require at least 150 minutes of P.E. per week for kids in grades K through 8.
Another hot topic involved medical malpractice.
It set the max amount of money you could get in a lawsuit at $2.05 million starting next year.
Of course there are other issues that lawmakers will discuss as well.
