CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - The man accused of killing his pregnant mistress had a hearing before a judge Monday morning — but Gregory Nelson's appearance had nothing to do with the murder charge he's facing.
Gregory Nelson is expected in court on charges of marijuana possession and eluding police. It's a hearing that had been postponed twice.
These are charges Nelson faces in Chesterfield County. He's in jail in Henrico County.
Nelson is also accused of killing Susana Cisneros. She was the pregnant woman whose family says had an affair with Nelson, who is a married man.
Her body was found earlier this month along West Broad Street.
During two different traffic stops the night Cisneros was murdered, Nelson was charged with possession of marijuana and eluding police.
Nelson remains behind bars without bond in Henrico.
