VCU 2 1/2 point underdogs Saturday night

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - In Las Vegas, betting on sports is legal.

Butler is listed as a 2 1/2 point favorite over VCU. In fact, the Rams are the longest shot to win the Final Four at 7 to 1.

Kentucky is the favorite to win the national championship.

The Rams have proved Las Vegas odds makers wrong for the past two weeks. The Rams were 11 point underdogs against Kansas. VCU won the game by ten points.

The Rams have upset Southern California, Georgetown, Purdue, Florida State and Kansas.

VCU has looked right at home in the NCAA tournament, shooting three-pointers and playing solid defense.

If VCU wins the national championship, the Las Vegas casinos would not be happy — there have been some big bets on the long-shot Rams.
