Virginia Credit Union offers financial fitness classes

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Virginia Credit Union will offer free seminars, free financial check-ups, and information and tools to help consumers increase their savings and reduce debt in observance of April as Financial Fitness Month. During the month, six financial education seminars for the community are planned:

Making the Most of Your Money for Teens – Henrico County Library Tuckahoe Branch, 1901 Starling Dr., Henrico, VA 23229, April 6, 6 – 7 p.m.

The Psychology of Spending – Richmond Public Library North Avenue Branch, 2901 North Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222, April 11, 5 – 6 p.m.

Your Credit Score – Richmond Public Library Broad Rock Branch, 4820 Old Warwick Road, Richmond, VA 23224, April 18, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Solving the Mystery of Credit Reports – Richmond Public Library Broad Rock Branch, 4820 Old Warwick Road, Richmond, VA 23224, April 20, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Personal Finance: Aligning Money With Values – Richmond Public Library North Avenue Branch, 2901 North Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222 April 25, 5 – 6 p.m.

First Time Homebuyers -- VACU in the Boulders Office Park, 7500 Boulder View Drive, April 26, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
