RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Henrico's school superintendent will to have to pay back part of his retirement fund.

DailyPress.com reports, the Hampton school board, where Dr. Patrick Russo was working before coming to Henrico, won a lawsuit yesterday that forces him to repay the $102,000 it put into a retirement fund for him.

A judge ruled that since Russo broke his contract to come to Henrico, he must give up the annuity.

But Russo is fighting back. He's counter suing for $300,000 alleging the district withheld pay and benefits. That trial is scheduled for July.
