Corneal abrasions

HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) - Dr. John Clay is treating corneal abrasions at Primary Health Group-Hopewell.

It's basically when your eye gets scratched.

If it happens you need to gently rinse the eye with saline solution or distilled water.

Wear safety glasses while in an environment that exposes you to flying debris.

The problem can lead to persistent eye irritation, redness, pain, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light.
