VCU upsets Georgetown in 74-56 rout

CHICAGO - The Virginia Commonwealth University Rams are at it again in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament -- upsetting higher seeded teams and making it look easy.

The 12-seeded Rams led Georgetown University 35-24 at halftime and came out strong to start the second half, leading the 6-seeded Hoyas by about 20 points most of the rest of the game.

VCU (25-11) hit 12 of 25 three-point shots. Brandon Rozzell lead the way for the Rams with 26 points, including 6 of 10 from three-point range. Point guard Joey Rodriguez had 17 points and seven assists.

VCU will face the No. 3 seed Purdue University on Sunday.
