RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond police need your help solving two deadly shootings over the weekend.

The first happened just before 3 a.m. Monday at the intersection of West Fells Street and Saint James.

Police arrived at the scene and found two men with gunshot wounds.

41-year-old Paul Gray died at the hospital. The other victim is expected to be okay.

Police believe that robbery was a motive in the crime.

The second deadly shooting happened early Sunday morning outside a club at Fourth and East Main.

That's where 20-year-old Michael K. Brown, Jr. was shot and killed.

Police say it started out as a typical busy night outside the Aurora Club on East Grace Street.

Brown was out celebrating his birthday.

Witnesses say he was kicked out of the club. Moments later, someone opened fire.

Aaron Mitchell and Anne Marie Wonder were only two blocks away when the shooting happened.

"When you live in a city, you have to be careful no matter what. Sometimes, it's easy to get kind of comfortable. You're like, 'oh well it's not that bad.' Also you can't predict stuff like that happening so you always have to be cautious," said Wonder.

The suspect was last seen getting into a white sedan.

If you have any information for any of this weekend's deadly shootings, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
