RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - For the third time in five years, a judge will try to sentence a former Maryland school teacher convicted of providing support to a Pakistani terror group.
Ali Asad Chandia has been sentenced twice to 15 years in prison for helping a terrorist group leader ship 50,000 paintball pellets from the U.S. to Pakistan.
Both times, a federal appeals court tossed out the sentence, saying the punishment was too harsh for the crime.
