RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Nine army officers will be disciplined for actions related to the shootings at Fort Hood.
In November of 2009, Army Major Nidal Hasan allegedly opened fire, killing 13 soldiers and wounding 32 others.
The nine officers in question are accused of not flagging potential warning signs. They were in Hasan's chain of command at Walter Reed Medical Center and the military's medical school.
It's alleged that Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, showed signs of Islamic radicalization that were ignored by superior officers.
