RICHMOND, VA. (WWBT) -- Less than 300 tickets are left for the Virginia Commonwealth University vs. Old Dominion University CAA Championship tonight. It is expected to be a sell out, and the tickets are flying out of the Richmond Coliseum box office quickly.

Ram fans are hoping the rainbow threes continue to drop and VCU can throw it down tonight in the CAA Championship. A chance to head to the big dance is on the line and it's no time to mess around. This is serious for VCU fans.

"It's going to be crazy. I think they have the best chance to win tonight. But the atmosphere is going to be insane," said Wes Lesco.

So serious that Wes is here all the way from Canada. He travels around to watch college basketball games. Tonight, it will be his first night decked out as a VCU fan. "It's intense. They definitely have the best fans."

That's something a lot of Ram fans are glad to hear. But Wes -- and some others -- are using the time before the game to gear up.

"Well I've got some old school VCU stuff and now I need some new school VCU stuff. Shirts and all that crazy stuff," says VCU Fan Matt Kreider.

"I'm here to get some new clothes all my other clothes are worn out from when I was a student," says Kelly Cullen.

In fact, at the book store, fans have been coming in waves to buy some new clothes. A money maker for sure. Then, at the box office, we saw a lot of people as leaders are expecting a sell out.

Tickets are flying into the hands of many hopefuls. Even into the hands of the dreaded enemy tonight, ODU.
