RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - If you have to fill up your gas tank, you better do it quick - those gas prices are going up by the day!

Its hard to miss those rising gas prices. Driving past the Raceway on Midlothian Turnpike for the past three days, we've seen the price go from $3.13 to $3.23, to $3.33, up 10 cents each of the past three days.

You've probably have seen something similar to this where you live.

And the warning is: prices could go up even more!

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Richmond sits at $3.26.

The national average is slightly higher than that.

If you haven't noticed, the current price is up more than 30 cents from just a few weeks ago.

The main reason for the recent jump in the price of gas is rising oil prices because of the problems going on overseas in Libya.

The head of oil production there warns that things could get worse.

This all has people cutting back, as some gas store owners warn you will see the price of gas rise again today at the pump.

There is some speculation that gas prices could go up to $4 a gallon - a price that drivers are already seeing out in Los Angeles.
