Windy conditions today, power outages possible

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - We are in store for a windy day that could lead to some power outages.

Dominion is gearing up for possibly a busy day. Winds could get as high as 45 mph.

Also watch out for any tree limbs down in the road. The winds could even bring down some of those old trees in the city.

The rain from last night, combined with the more humid conditions today, should keep the number of forest fires down. This is good news for the tired and financially strapped fire departments that have been busy the past couple of weeks.

If the winds pick up enough and there are some power outages by you, Dominion says you should call them at 866-366-4357.
