RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Rut Court was packed to the brim, and the raucous Cadet fans went home happy Wednesday night.  In a battle of the two best boys basketball teams in Central Virginia, Benedictine upended Highland Springs 71-66.

The Cadets jumped out to a ten point lead at the end of the first quarter.  But Springer Jarvis Threatt had a huge second quarter to close the gap to 35-30 at halftime.  Threatt had 13 points in the first half, and finished with a game high 22.  Trey Davis led the Cadets with 19 points.
