RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The three UVA players that were suspended by Mike London on Tuesday for conduct detrimental to the team were arrested on January 30th for assault.

Juniors Devin Wallace, Mike Price and Ausur Walcott all were charged with three counts of assault and battery by mob and burglary-entering a dwelling with the intent to commit an assault.

In a release, the Harrisonburg Police Department says the assault that took place on Saturday, January 30 at 1:34 a.m.

Three male victims said they were assaulted by a group of unknown males, who entered an apartment in the 800 block of Port Republic Road. Two victims were taken to Rockingham Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. These victims have since been released.

The release goes on to say that at this point in the investigation, it appears as though a verbal altercation took place outside the apartment complex amongst several individuals prior to the assault.  On Tuesday, February 8, warrants were obtained and three individuals cooperatively turned themselves in.

At linebacker, Walcott was third leading tackler for UVA this season with 53 tackles.  Wallace was the fill-in starter at cornerback when Ras-I Dowling went down with injury.  Price was a back-up center.  All three have been suspended indefinitely from the football team.
