College Signing Day: Hermitage's Grant picks Ohio State

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Signing Day is underway! NBC12's Matt Lincoln is all over the Richmond area today tracking where the best high school football players are going to attend college.

The big one, Hermitage high school linebacker Curtis Grant -- the Number 2-rated prospect in the country -- announced he will play for Ohio State University.

  • Hermitage's Shamel White selected Concord (WVa.)
  • Hermitage's Brandon Rogers selected Concord (WVa.)

  • Hermitage's Kenneth Wagstaff selected Carson-Newman.
  • Hermitage's Dimonte Bailey selected University of Virginia.
  • Manchester's Jake Goins signs his letter of intent to Virginia Tech.
  • Dinwiddie's Chris Hall signs with Virginia Tech.
  • Dinwiddie's Trey Gardner signs with Ball State.
  • Dinwiddie's Corey Marshall signs with Virginia Tech.
  • Petersburg ATH Kevin Green signs with University of Virginia.
  • St. Christopher's Thompson Brown signs with University of Virginia.
  • Charles City's Trevor Jones signs with the University of Richmond.
  • Hanover RB Deane Cheatham signs with James Madison University.
  • J.R. Tucker's Parker Cherlin signed with VMI.
