RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - On a busy Tuesday night of high school hoops, a local player reaches a milestone for his school, while another team sets an area season record for points scored.
Jarvis Threatt scored his 1,000th career point for Highland Springs as the Springs blew out Armstrong 93-41.
The Springer girls also rolled to a victory over Armstrong, 80-22.
The Henrico boys set a record for points scored under coach Vance Harmon, torching Lee Davis 123-55. The 123 points is also the most scored by a high school basketball team in Central Virginia this year.
Elsewhere in the Colonial District, Hanover outlasted Varina 64-56.
And John Marshall picked up a big win before its big game against Freeman Friday, by toppling Thomas Jefferson 84-57.
