RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - If you're hitting the interstates this morning in central Virginia, the good news is that the roads are looking good.

VDOT was out all night putting salt and sand on the roads.

Roads to the north, heading to the D.C. area, are still wet and could cause traffic delays.

VDOT urges all drivers to remain cautious as wet patches could turn to black ice when temperatures cool down.
