RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A controversial new subdivision is drawing a lot of attention.

Hanover county supervisors will take another look at the proposed plan and vote on it Wednesday night.

This is the second time this long standing subdivision debate has come up for a vote.

Folks who live nearby the site want county supervisor to just say no.

Giles Farm would add about 450 homes to Hanover's Chickahominy district near Atlee High School. That's near the 295 interchange off Atlee Station Road.

Neighbors worry about the increased traffic the development would bring.

The county says plans are already in place to improve the road.

Back in November, the planning commission recommended the subdivision be denied approval. But despite that ruling, it's the Board of Supervisors who get to make the final call.
