HANOVER, VA (WWBT) - Hanover County officials are set to vote on one of the last obstacles for the controversial Giles Farm subdivision.

Board members will vote Wednesday whether to approve rezoning the undeveloped area to make way for the proposed 450 home development near Atlee High School.

The Hanover County Planning Commission recommended denying approval for the subdivision back in November.  The development has been in the works for years and some nearby residents are concerned about the added traffic the new homes could bring to the area.
