RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - While Hermitage's defensive star Curtis Grant will wait until signing day to make his much-anticipated college decision, the Panthers' offensive star has decided where he will play college ball.
Quarterback Brendon Riddick verbally committed to play at Norfolk State. Both Riddick's father and grandfather have ties to the school. Hermitage football coach Patrick Kane also said Tuesday that Norfolk State was the only school that was interested in Riddick as a quarterback. Riddick also drew interest from Monmouth University in New Jersey.
Riddick accounted for 36 total touchdowns his senior season, leading Hermitage to a berth in the state championship game. He is a three-time Colonial District player of the year.
