HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Henrico Police arrested a West End mother following a New Year's Eve party in which officers say 19 juveniles between the ages of 16-18 years old were caught either possessing or drinking alcohol.

Susan L. Hoback-Tweardy, 43, of the 200 block of Middle Quarter Lane, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on 19 misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police say officers were alerted to an alleged fight at an underage party at her home shortly before midnight on New Year's Eve and discovered the drinking, along with evidence of drug use. Police said Tweardy was the only person in the home who is legally allowed to drink.

Police said an ambulance was called after officers found Tweardy's juvenile son unconscious on a bathroom floor. Police didn't have an update on the boy's condition.

Police also said four other people were drinking illegally. They range in age from 18-20 years old. Henrico Police Department spokesperson Lt. Eric Owens said marijuana was found in the home and that Tweardy could face more charges.

Hoback-Tweardy posted bond Wednesday night. In a court hearing Thursday morning, a Juvenile and Domestic court judge ordered her to stop drinking alcohol and immediately take a drug test. Tweardy is due back in court in April. Police say the arrest came nearly two weeks after the incident because they were waiting on lab results. Several items from the West End home were seized as evidence and sent to a state lab.
