CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA (WWBT) - Wednesday evening in Chesterfield, we could learn more about the future of the former Cloverleaf Mall area.

The Times-Dispatch reports the County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote on a financial plan that could kick off a revitalization of the area.

County leaders may also discuss the idea of a special tax district to pay for improvements along Midlothian Turnpike.

There will be a public hearing Wednesday night at the board's meeting at 6:30 p.m.  If a deal works out, the paper reports that developers could demolish the mall as early as this March or April.
