Glen Allen ticket wins $250,000 in Mega Millions

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Lady Luck helped some people win big in the Mega Millions lottery. Two ticket holders will share $380 million, one of the largest lottery jackpots in U.S. history.

Too bad the winning ticket wasn't sold here.

But if you just happened to buy your ticket in Idaho or Washington state, you could be an overnight millionaire.

If the winners decide to take the lump sum, after taxes, they'll split $224 million.

But don't throw away that ticket you have just yet -- one ticket sold here in Virginia is worth $250,000.

The winning $250,000 was sold at the 7-11 at 11480 West Broad Street.  The winner has not come forward yet.  The store will receive $750 bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling a winning ticket.

So take a look at the numbers. They are 4-8-15-25-47 and the Mega Ball is 42.

If you didn't win... you're not alone. Mega Millions is played in 41 states and D.C.

The next drawing is for $12 million on Friday night.
