State police seek missing teenage girl

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Virginia State Police and Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an endangered missing child media alert on behalf of the Scott County Sheriffs Office in Gate City on 01/04/2011.

The Scott County Sheriffs Office is looking for Hope Lashae Calhoun, white, female, age 16, height 5 feet 03 inches, weight 100 lbs, with blue eyes and straight brown hair.

The child is believed to be in danger and was last seen at Gate City High School, Gate City, Va.

The child may be in the company of Alexander Clay Qualls, white, male, age 18, height 5 feet 07 inches, weight 140 lbs, with hazel eyes and red hair.

They may be traveling in a 1995 gold Buick 4 door sdn, license XKA-2785, Va.

    Police are in the beginning stages of a homicide investigation, after a man is found shot to death in Petersburg Sunday morning. Officers say they were called to the 2700 block of South Crater Road, around 2 a.m. When they got to the scene, police say they found a man, who had been shot multiple times.
