Police seek smartphone search in U.Va. slaying

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WWBT) - An update in the Yeardley Love murder case.

Charlottesville police want to see the e-mails and text messages that accused killer George Huguely exchanged with Love.

Investigators have asked to search Huguely's smartphone.

Investigators have already searched Huguely's and Love's computers and found fragments of correspondence.

This morning, he's still behind bars, charged with first-degree murder. He's due back in court next month.
