RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Virginia State Crime Commission panel meets Wednesday to make recommendations on a statewide police chase policy.

It will also vote on strengthening protective orders and consider proposals requiring those under protective orders be monitored by GPS devices.

The panel will also debate whether synthetic marijuana known as "spice" or "k-2" should be banned.

The commission makes recommendations that move on to the general assembly.
