RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A major part of Maury Street will close for the entire week for Richmond crews to repair a gas line.
City leaders have often talked about the age of the pipes underneath the ground in Richmond.
In an effort to upgrade the infrastructure, the city will be working on the gas main at Jeff Davis and Maury Street.
City utility crews will be closing Maury Street between Holly Springs Avenue and Commerce Road.
The work will be going on everyday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. all week long.
Detour signs will be up all throughout the area to help you get around the work.
