RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – A two-alarm fire prompted an evacuation tonight in Richmond.
It happened around 8:00pm at the Suntrust Building on Semmes Avenue.
Employees on the building's 5th floor noticed smoke pouring from the heating vents. They called for help and were evacuated.
The fire was upgraded to a second-alarm due to the building's size.
