Museum District Association says no to Carytown Place

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - An update on a controversial plan to bring more shopping to Carytown.

The Museum District Association voted last night not to support the special use permit application for the project known as "Carytown Place."

A Maryland developer wants to turn the old Verizon building on North Nansemond into a shopping center.

The plan goes before the planning commission in January but City Council that has the final say.
