On Friday, December 3rd, bring your family to James Center for a beautiful and free family tradition.

At 5:59pm Santa and Lite 98 will be counting down the seconds to turn on the downtown office

buildings and James Center's Great Tree and Reindeer!

From 6:00pm till 7:00pm experience the magic of the holidays with two blocks of family entertainment.

At 6:30, James Center is very excited to present Big Ray and the Kool Kats as the featured performance.

Big Ray's style is Jazz and swing and it comes to life with a crisp four piece rhythm section, three sizzling horn players and male and female vocalists.

Shelly Perkins of Lite 98 is Snow Queen!

Entertainment also includes: The Greater Richmond Children's Choir, Varina High School

Marching Band, The Sugar Plum Fairy from the Richmond Ballet, characters from the

Nutcracker Cast, the VCU Trombone Choir, harpist Rickie Denton, singer Patsy Butler,

the Virginia Piedmont & Central HO Model Railroad Club and much more.

Street Closing: On Friday, December 3 10th Street will be closed from 10am to 10pm

from the parking deck to Cary Street. The parking garage will remain accessible from Canal

Street onto 10th Street. The parking lane on Cary Street will close at 9am and will remain closed

until 12am .

Cary Street, from just past the 9th Street intersection to just before the 12th Street intersection

may close from 6pm to 8pm, if needed, to accommodate the crowd.

$3.00 parking is available at the parking deck on the corner of 10th and Canal Streets after 4:00.
