RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The plan to spruce up a half mile stretch of Forest Hill Avenue received mixed reviews Wednesday.
Residents said they think there needs to be work done in the area between Powhite and Hathaway, but city leaders want to make sure $10 million is spent on the right things.
The plan calls for making the road wider - five lanes plus a median and bike lanes.
It will move people through the area faster.
If approved, the Forest Hill renovation would take more than a year to complete.
