RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Police are investigating the city's latest homicide.

It happened around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday night in a convenience store parking lot on the city's East End. A commander tells NBC12 the man who was killed is Christopher David Lee, who lived in the 700 block of North 35th Street.

The 29-year-old was found dead in front of the Quick Stop food mart, that's in the 4000 block of Government Road on the city's East End. Lee was shot and found in the store's parking lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say me they aren't sure of a motive just yet, but have been talking to witnesses. They do know two men were seen running away from the store.

Lee's body is now at the medical examiner's office. The medical examiner will then determine a cause of death.

It's still very early in the investigation. There's no description on the two men seen running away. If you know anything that can help detectives call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
