RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The man arrested by Louisa County police during an Eric Cantor rally, last month, appeared in court today.

The Louisa commonwealth's attorney says lawyers were appointed during this morning's proceedings and the case was continued until December fourteenth.

John Taylor was a supporter of Cantor's democratic opponent and was arrested for not leaving a private rally at a coffee shop.

Taylor claims police used excessive shows one officer sitting on his head while trying to arrest him.
