Senator Webb wants answers for JFCOM closure

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Senator Jim Webb is demanding information related to the proposed closure of the Joint Forces Command.

This week he said that he would deny all Department of Defense civilian and general officer nominations until the Pentagon responds to his request.

About three months ago, Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced the closing of the Joint Forces Command in Hampton Roads.

Senator Webb still wants to see the analysis that led to the closure.
