Cantor threat suspect faces new charges

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Philadelphia man charged with threatening Congressman Eric Cantor in a You-Tube video last spring has been charged with two new threat-related counts.

Federal prosecutors in Philadelphia filed the charges Thursday against Norman Leboon.

Investigators say Leboon posted a video in March in which he said he would shoot Cantor in the head.

Leboon was sent to a psychiatric facility in April and deemed not competent to stand trial.

A message left for Leboon's lawyer Thursday was not immediately returned.
