CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - More budget cuts are coming to Chesterfield County Schools next year, but some federal money will save the school from cutting more employees.

The education jobs fund will send $12 million to Chesterfield and the school system will use it next school year.

The money can only be used for re-hiring laid-off employees, hiring new employees or restoring reductions, like class courses.

The superintendent presents his budget in January — that's when we will learn how the $12 million will be spent.
