On Tuesday, Oct. 19 motorists should expect overnight delays on I-95 north and south near mile marker 115 in Caroline County. Traffic will be slowed approximately four times between 4 a.m. – 6 a.m. for not more than 15 minutes at a time to allow crews from Dominion Virginia Power to run electrical lines across the interstate. Slow rolls will begin on I-95 south at Exit 118 (Rt. 606/Thornburg) and on I-95 north at Exit 110 (Rt. 639/Ladysmith).
Dominion Virginia Power will have equipment staged on the shoulder within the work zone between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Oct. 20 through Oct. 22 to allow crews to complete the work. All travel lanes will be open during the staging period.
