RICHMOND, VA (WWBT)  - Forbes Magazine has dropped Virginia from the top spot of their "Best State To Do Business" list.

The title has belonged to Virginia for the past 4 years.  Forbes now ranks the Commonwealth second to Utah.  Utah's 7.4 percent unemployment rate is well below the national average of 9.6 percent.

The magazine cites increased labor and energy costs as a reason for Virginia's drop.

Our neighbor to the south, North Carolina comes in third.  Colorado ranks fourth and Washington.
